DTG and DTF printing
- Direct-to-garment (DTG): ink printed straight into the fabric, including on colored garments. Best on cotton and organic cotton, with a soft feel.
- Direct-to-film (DTF): the design is printed onto film and heat-applied, so it works on blends and polyester too.
- Both handle fine detail, gradients and photographic images.
We accept vector files, high-resolution images and digital photos.
When to choose digital over screen printing
Choose digital printing for full-color designs, photographic artwork, or names and designs that change garment to garment. For spot-color logos on larger runs, screen printing is usually better value. We’ll recommend the right method in your quote.
We work on bulk orders and don’t offer print-on-demand or one-off items.

What is DTG printing?
Direct-to-garment printing applies ink straight into the fabric, like a printer on paper. It suits detailed, full-color artwork on cotton garments.
What is the difference between DTG and DTF?
DTG prints directly into the garment and works best on cotton. DTF prints onto film that is heat-applied, so it works on more fabrics, including polyester.
Can you digitally print on dark t-shirts?
Yes. Digital printing works on colored and dark garments.
