FRANCHISE FAQ

Your questions, answered.

What does an OCC Apparel studio do?

It supplies and decorates ethical apparel for local organizations: universities, nonprofits, brands, businesses and events that order every season. Studios sell, manage clients and coordinate production with OCC’s supply and decoration network.

How much does an OCC Apparel franchise cost?

The franchise fee is $40,000, the minimum initial investment is $94,900 including the fee, and the royalty is 4% of gross sales. See Investment.

Is there a reduced fee for existing businesses?

Yes, for existing apparel businesses, existing apparel franchisees and apparel executives with a book of business. See Convert Your Apparel Business.

Is financing available?

Franchise fee funding is available to qualified candidates, and third-party financing can be arranged after you review the FDD.

Do I need apparel industry experience?

Yes. OCC Apparel studios are for experienced apparel, decoration and B2B apparel sales professionals, and for established apparel businesses. We don’t accept applicants without that background.

Do I need a retail store or my own printing equipment?

No retail store is needed. Studios work from flexible light-industrial, warehouse or showroom space, and production can be handled by decoration partners. [confirm: whether a showroom is optional or required]

Where are territories available?

Georgia is our initial focus, and we welcome enquiries from other states. See Available Territories.

What training and support do I get?

Back-office training, decoration partner visits, trade shows, the OCC Apparel Basecamp back-office team, marketing and lead-generation tools, national branding and ongoing coaching. See Training & Support.

Can my clients order online?

Yes. Your clients get OCC OMM™ for quotes, mockups, approvals, orders and reorders, with private ordering portals for their teams.

Do you publish earnings figures?

No. Any financial performance information we provide is contained only in our Franchise Disclosure Document. [confirm with franchise attorney]

How long does the process take?

It follows five steps, including a virtual Discovery Day and at least 14 days to review the FDD. [confirm: typical time from enquiry to opening] See Steps to Ownership.

How do I get started?

Complete the enquiry form. Every enquiry is confidential.
