CONVERT YOUR APPAREL BUSINESS

You built the book. Now own the brand behind it.

For established print shops, decorators and apparel sales leaders who want to keep their clients and grow under an ethical apparel brand with more than 20 years behind it.

Who conversion is for

Most OCC Apparel studios won’t start from zero. They start with an operator who already knows apparel and already has clients who reorder. Conversion is built for three kinds of people:

  • Print shop and decoration owners who want a stronger brand, premium ethical supply and better systems without giving up what they’ve built.
  • Apparel sales executives managing a book of B2B clients for someone else, often $1–2M or more in annual sales, who are ready to own the relationship and the margin.
  • Owners of existing apparel franchises or promotional businesses looking for a brand with a clear ethical position and a lean B2B model.

What you keep

  • Your clients and the relationships you’ve earned
  • Your team and your know-how
  • Your equipment and the decoration partners you trust [confirm: how existing equipment and partners fit the franchise agreement]
  • Your local reputation, now backed by a national brand

What you gain

  • The OCC Apparel brand and its ethical, organic positioning
  • Access to certified ethical brands and private-label manufacturing
  • OCC OMM™ online ordering portals for your clients
  • OCC Apparel Basecamp, our back-office team for quotes, artwork and order admin
  • Marketing, lead generation and national branding
  • Coaching from a founder who has run an apparel business since 2004

A reduced fee for converting businesses

We offer a reduced franchise fee for existing apparel businesses, existing apparel franchisees and apparel executives who bring a book of business. Franchise fee funding is also available. You can apply for the reduced fee when you enquire. [confirm: reduced-fee amount and eligibility wording matches the current FDD]

See the Investment page for the standard fee, minimum initial investment and royalty.

How a conversion works

  1. Tell us about your business. Your clients, the sales you manage, your decoration setup and where you operate.
  2. Fit review. We look at how your book and your setup map to an OCC Apparel studio, and whether the reduced fee applies.
  3. Virtual Discovery Day and FDD. Meet the leadership team and review the Franchise Disclosure Document for at least 14 days.
  4. Rebrand and onboard. Training, brand rollout, OCC OMM™ set-up for your clients and connection to our supply and decoration network.
  5. Grow. Keep serving your clients while adding new ones with OCC Apparel’s marketing and back-office support.

FAQ

Conversion questions

Do I have to change my business name?

Yes. Converting studios trade as OCC Apparel. We’ll plan the rebrand with you so your clients know what’s changing and why. [confirm: rebrand terms]

Can I keep my existing equipment?

In most cases, yes. The OCC model is lean, and production can also be done through decoration partners. [confirm]

I’m a sales executive, not a business owner. Can I convert?

Yes. Apparel executives with a book of business can apply for the reduced fee. You’ll need to check your own employment and restraint obligations before moving clients.

Is conversion open to people new to apparel?

No. Conversion, and OCC Apparel franchising generally, is for experienced apparel, decoration and B2B apparel sales professionals.
